Re: …
Wouldn't this thread be better off in the ATT The Park forum, instead of pinned to the top of the MAIN baseball forum for the ENTIRE season?
Just a suggestion.

Re: Your 2008 Attended Games Record ...
There's not a single thread that should be pinned to the top of this board for any reason.
If a thread deserves to stay on the first page - and near the top of the first page to boot, then it will because the regs will continue to add comments to the thread.
But to see threads which have not had a post for multiple days stuck to the top of the board is annoying and only serves to drag down the quality of these boards.
(in my best Ronald Reagan voice) "General Secretary Merkin, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Giants fan base and baseball fans alike, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Merkin, open this board! Mr. Merkin, tear down these threads."
--- The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.

Re: Your 2008 Attended Games Record ...
And there is such a thing as the bookmark function for those who, for whatever reason, want to easily find an old, dead thread to read or update.
Not trying to bash this thread being in existence, and I'm sure that it interests the few people that for some reason want everyone to know what games they have attended. I'm just not one of them that cares who went where and when.
And I really don't feel like staring at it at the top of the thread list every time I open the main baseball forum.
For those who do care about it -- It would be quite easy to find it again, even if "not pinned" after being moved to the relatively "ghost town like"-- ATT Park forum.
There are still threads over there on the front page-- that were last posted on almost a year ago.

…
I find no reason why this should be a tacked thread in the baseball forum.
