Giordanos Pizza ROSEMONT IL (847) 292-2600 9415 W. HIGGINS RD. Nice Pie First off we ordered a medium which took over 30 minutes to serve Larger pies take longer, as was evidenced by people waiting before us getting their pies after us..... Nice thick pie.... got the "special" which was their best seller.... Nice combination of onions, mushrooms, sausage, and bell peppers..... All the veggies were cooked but on the crunchy side, which was nice.... The sauce was not sour, and slightly sweet... you can tell it had been cooking for a long time... nice sauce with a good herb flavor..... The crust caught me off guard.....for some reason was sort of expecting a hard crunch like a new york style, or amici's....instead you get a light flaky crumbly crust......almost a "pie crust" for the pizza pie.... All in all, a nice oooey gooey cheezey mess, with nicely balanced flavors and textures......
