Brean - Pontins
Sorry too late for most.
Brean Pontins, Somerset (quite near Weston Suer Mare) - this weekend
Lee Easton, who most of you know, is the main inspiration for the Pontins Brean Line and Country event now encompasses WCS dedicated rooms. There are day tickets apparently, however please please check if you are thinking of going.
Its not well advertised, Pontins web iste does not mention it. best thing is to Google Country and Western events Brean Lee Easton. I think there is a link off Hotswing.co.uk as well.
A lot of the WCS hardcore are at the event and boasts the amazing Robert Cordoba & Deborah Szekey and Ronnie Debendetta & Brandi Tobias teaching WCS workshops.
Great stuff!!

Re: Brean - Pontins
Feedback;
The Pontins is far the best out of Camber and Southport for the chalets and plenty of car parking.
Electricity has too be bought but on the whole, no worries.
Pontins staff nice and friendly.
Catering on site is fair to good a seems 'open' quite long hours.
Culture shock for most of us who had never experienced the equivalent Line/ Country event.
Lots and lots of girls and women. Hardly any men, get the impression it would be impossible to gender balance. Reckon 90% female, 10% chaps. The kids were fantastic.
Robert and Deborah were superb. Ronnie and Brandi sadly could not make it as Ronnie had a suspected heart problem which turned out to be a trapped nerve (thank goodness).
Great floors, cool venue, cool temperature venue, no fighting for space on the floor. All WCS heaven in Somerset.
Lee Easton did a fantastic job bolting this together. Hats off Sir, respect!!
Great little competition, good results nice to see Glenn, Naomi, Sheila & Rob D, Paul & Caro' up on the winners rostrum.
Real prize money as well..
Be there next year...it'll get bigger and better.

Re: Brean - Pontins
Definitely back again. Nice to try other dances such as night club and country twostep. Robert and Deborah were absolute stars by doing extra classes. Relaxed and chilled atmosphere. Not one jiver to collide into - bliss!
