In case anyone isn't following the thread, here are the placings of the contestants. Not quite what I expected, but who knows what the judges are looking for?
Florida State Swing Dance Championship:
1st - Joe W & Sue W (couple 6)
2nd - Jimmy F & Cindy M (couple 13)
3rd - Rick W & Georgina N (couple 8)
4th - Walter R & Debi D (couple 4)
5th - John H & Mary Jane H (couple 5)
6th - Johnny P & Lisa M (couple 14)
7th - Mark P & Jennifer L (couple 11)
I personally liked couple 13, 14, and 8. For my own particular taste, I'd have picked couple 8, very cool....mainly basics...but working to the music! That's my idea of a good social dance.

I agree with forum members who questioned the judges' decision. What were they thinking? Anyway I liked couple 14 too and couple 13.
