PotC Insights I've seen PotC 8 times now... and I finally realized some things (at about the 4th time I saw it) But I wanted to discuss it. At the near end of the movie, when Jack and Barbossa are fighting, (after Will and Elizabeth blow the other pirates up) we see Will run up to the chest. Also, we see Jack cut his hand, and throw a medallion to Will. Well, at first I didn't know why he cut his hand, and I realized later that it was bcause he took it out the chest, and for doing that he had to repay the blood. Did anybody else not notice this, or think something different, or maybe think the smae thing?
Re: PotC Insights Jack did not need to repay blood from my understanding...once cursed, they didn't seem to bleed. Remeber when they shot the one pirate after they gave Elizabeth's blood? He didn't bleed. For some reason they only needed Turner's blood. That was my understanding???

Re: PotC Insights i agree with SinLooWho. ive only seen it 5 times but this is what i think: in the movie barbosa says to his pirates "and who among us has paid the blood sacrifice owed to the heathen gods?" and they answer "us". so doesnt this mean that if jack was one of their crew he needed to pay the blood sacrifice too? so the curse couldn't be undone if all the pirates hadn't contributed their blood.
right? insight anyone?

Re: PotC Insights well I thought that he didn't have to repay blood because he left the crew b4 they got the curse.So I thought that he didn't have the curse until he picked up one of the medallions.
Re: PotC Insights ok....iv senn the movie many many times and i am going 2 explain it 2 u before u strain something. ok the crew went after the treasure. but before they got there they killed wills father(bootstrap bill) because he didnt agree with killing ppl. then they left jack to die on an island because he didnt like killing ppl ither. wait, wait scratch that.........ok let me start over. ok they were going 2 go after the treasure but before they got there they left jack on an island because they didnt like his leader ship and he wouldnt let them kill ppl. then they got the treasure. then they got cursed.but bootstrap bill(wills father) thought it was wrong 4 them 2 do that 2 jack so he sent a peice of the gold 2 will so they would remain cursed. so the crew killed him. but then they found out they needed his blod 2 lift the curse. ok? i think thats about it. but there are a few flaws in the writing 2 the movie anyway so not everything will make sence. like if bootstrap gave a piece of the treasure 2 will then he must of moved a piece3(obviously) then he would b cursed 2 so he shouldnt b able 2 die. so how could they of killed him? confusing i know. how do u put pics on?

Re: PotC Insights yeah i noticed that b/c he took it out of the chest when he was talking 2 barbossa when they were just about 2 lift the curse. he took some out n dropped them back n except for 1. u c it when he goes into the light n johnny turns int a skeleton
