Pirates of the Caribbean X-Mas Poem!

T'was the night before Christmas, and on board The Pearl,
Not a creature was stirring...not a boy, not a girl.
Stockings were hung high in the rigging with care
In hopes that Barbossa wouldn't see them up there.
The crewmen were snuggled away below deck
And the anchor'd been lowered to avoid a shipwreck.
With the captain in his quarters and the watch in the 'nest,
We thought all us pirates would have a fine rest.
When just off t' starboard there arose such a clatter
That the monkey swung quickly to see what was the matter.
Off to the side I scrambled and flew
Leaving behind me the rest of the crew.
The moon pierced the fog and exposed my old bones.
And I knew who I was seein' warn't no Davy Jones.
Off in the distance a dinghy appeared
And it seemed highly likely to the Black Pearl it steered.
The small boat moved swiftly, and straight as an arrow.
When who should we spy - but ol' Captain Jack Sparrow!
He climbed up on deck and took stock of the crew.
T'was speechless we all were, and Barbossa was too!
His beard was all beaded, his face full o' fun
And the wenches on board knew that THIS was the ONE!!
He said that he'd traveled with not wallet nor purse,
But a single medallion to lift off our curse.
Well, we was excited and started to yell ,
When that wily Barbossa, he rang the ship's bell.
"And what will ye want for this favor ye give?
Speak quickly, Jack Sparrow, if ye want to live!"
Jack's eyes glowed darkly, and a smirk touched his lips.
"I'll save all your souls for The Black Pearl - MY ship!"
We circled Barbossa, and at the point of a sword
Barbossa, he cracked , and said, "We've got an accord!"
So we was marooned on a small sandy isle,
But Jack left us our stockings and said, with a smile,
"Santa will come, good mates, do not fear.
But with the rumrunners gone, probably not for a year."
As the sails took the wind, and he started to go,
We heard Sparrow whisper "....me hearties, yo ho!"

Enjoy!
