I wasn't sure where to put this, Anna.

It's no secret that I was never a huge Pantera fan. Or Damage Plan, for that matter. But in about one minute (for me, anyway), it'll be the 8th of December, marking the loss of Dime.

Equally important, and tragic, it marks the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death.

I don't wanna be cheesy, and I don't want to make light of this.

So, with respect to them, and their peers, their fans, everyone who misses them, here's to them. emoticon

Very cool Jillybean.

I can't believe it's already been a year since Darrell's death. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time.

This day has always been about John Lennon for me. Living in New York? It's impossible to NOT be aware of this date, year after year.

When I was in school & living in the city? Every year, December 8th - the city would get packed. People still come from ALL over the world to honor John Lennon.

It's quite amazing.

I hope that both John Lennon & Darrell Abbott are resting in peace & rocking it out in Rock 'n Roll heaven. emoticon
