Just a Good Ol' Boy ....

Ah - to be a Good Ol' Southern Boy. I can just HEAR the drawl:

I think Down is a bad ass ****ing band with a bunch of rippin’ muther****ers in it and that is all I can tell you.

We went from being the Jetsons to being the Flinstones in about 48 hours hahaha.. you know what I mean? I ain't catchin' no breaks. Ain't nobody gonna make it easy on you son, you know that. I'm writing some songs daddy-o I'll tell you that! (anna's note: he's talking about Katrina here)

Well, we are all from the same place, New Orleans, and of course Rex is in Pantera with Phil. Just made good ****in sense. Plus, we all think alike. We’re a bunch of dirt bags!

We didn’t sleep. We became insanely creative. No one leaves, no women, porn maybe - only letting the music take control of what we were doing. It was 26 days of drugs, nature and whacked out creativity!

Five freaks, all well-versed in the school of hard rock, banging heads at 120 decibels, surrounded by sin, swamps, and mosquitoes, with modern-day society a tank of gas away. This is the way rock records should be made

I had this mental movie going on while reading that. (btw? he was naked whilst giving that little speech.)

But their creative process? Sounds like something I'd LOVE to be a part of... Shhh. Not coz it's a bunch of men with no women around.

Okay, that is a good reason. But still not THE reason.

I think it'd be great to see that **** happening in such a non "hey we're famous and you have to watch us" way.

We have two barbeques...one for the meat eaters and one for the veggies. Barbequing is one of the best thing about summer here.

RELATED to him. Yeah, hi? My neck of the woods? Every. Fricken. Day. My dad? Will grill anything that once had fur, or anything that is consumable. Husband? Grills constantly (when we had a grill).

If you could grill cake, pie, eggs, plain cakes, my husband would do it. Me.. not so much. Damn that "lazy ass" syndrome.

^^Hey you're onto something there. Imagine if there were no stoves, toaster ovens, etc., only barbeques...

We women would NEVER have to cook dinner again. emoticon

I say, we start an underground club, kind of like Fight Club, except instead of fighting each other we go around destroying all cooking applicances (except for barbeques)...

*Have to go now, I think the FBI is a knockin' on my door...

...oh wait a minute, I'm Canadian, it's Don Cherry and his hockey goons. emoticon

(Btw, I haven't been drinking - I'm just naturally like this...scary, I know).
