Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for!
This is heather's hubby, and through warnings from her about me being lynched should I forget to post (hehehe), have indeed remembered to do so yay!
We have just arrived home 20 mins ago and Heather and baby are doing absolutely great! :)
Connor arrived into the world Friday the 29th at 6:10pm. He weighed 8lbs 3onc. and measured 20". Yep, big baby heh. I have to say that was THE experience of my life. I helped out through the birthing and especially after. The feeling and emotion I felt when he was held by the doctor, I cannot put into words. But it was indeed the BEST feeling I have ever had.
I have taken pics of him and once I download them will put them here for all to enjoy.

Umm 39 hours, I was exhausted by the time he finally came.
Hubby is helping a whole lot cause atm I can't get up and around all that fast I had to have an episiotomy and with it lots of stitches. He is a little jaundice and they said with breast feeding it will decrease. Though since being released from the hospital we've had to go back twice to get him tested. I;m waiting for the hospital to get back to me atm.

39 hours is a long time...I definitely understand why your exhausted..

We took him in today and his levels are dropping the Doc seemed happy with that so thats good. I'll admit I was worried I know its very treatable, I had it as a baby and waaaay worse.
The 39 hours were not fun. Especially since my contractions never really became constant. they came very randomly and normally the hospital will not admit oyu until there constant, but after 24 hours of having them I couldn't take it anymore and jsut had to go in. After two hours of testing they admitted me and they finally got me on pain meds about 32 hours after the contractions had started. They also had to put me onto another drug to stimulate the contractions and after several hours they finally started to work. It was strange to say the least.

Thankies n the avi and sig thoguh didn't make the sig of course ;). WEnt to the pediatrician on friday and his jaundice has gotten much better so don't need to take him back for more test. Poor little guy has marks on both of the heels on his feet from teh tests.
