Re: Queeny's Sidebar
I've ask LG over at Illusia to see why these topics are stretched too wide.
This particular topic size window is perfect as it fits nicely, just need to find that illusive code that is complicationg things.
I do have a work around but it means removing some of the CSS and doing it a different way, won't do it yet though, we'll keep that back and use it as our last line of defence.
I'm a work at the moment so can't stay on long, will look in when I get home tonight (around 22:30hrs UK Time)

Re: Queeny's Sidebar
Thanks for the comments CL but it was Queeny who added all the content in the Sidebar.
This is what a Runboard Board Buddy does and I enjoy it very much because not only only does it give satisfaction to the owner of the board it also gives me the motivation to carry on being a board buddy.
I like to teach people how to add things that members don't understand on what they can do with their boards, it can be a lot of mumbo jumbo to some but I like to tweak the settings so people can see what certain things do with new codes etc.
When they see my codes it gives them confidence of trying and learning new things. Knowing that someone is there to turn to when things get a little complicated gives them the inspiration to carry on leanring new stuff just like Queeny has done.
I lay the foundations and the owner gets to play with it, adding new content etc, the concept of the Runboard tweaking helps everyone get to know what Runboard can offer next to the other forums that are out there.
Well done Queeny, you amaze me with your efforts and dedication you give to this board :bow2:

Re: Queeny's Sidebar
LG has been in touch with me Queeny and this is what she says.......
quote:
Other than making the font size smaller, the only way to fix that is to edit the subject line that has this in it:
DOWNTIMES....IMPORTANT....PLEASE
It's that line without spaces that's stretching the page.
If you or Queeny would like, I could look at the code for other things, but I only needed to look at the page itself to see the cause of this problem.
I have renamed the Downtime ...Important ...Please topic name and made it shorter, this has worked. So, in your other topics where it stretches the board, try renaming the topics and make them shorter.
I know you'll not want to reduce the font size as I know it helps you read it better this size. So start reducing the topic names in size
