George Michael..
I'm slightly obsessed with GM LOL! ok more then slightly..... I've loved him for 26 years or so, I was a whamette and then grew with him..
My dream came true 4 years ago when I met him at air studios and gave him a birthday present, in return i got a kiss, hug and an autograph, and then 2006 he started touring again, was a dream come true, so i'll put my report here too....it will be about the stadium tour in 2007 as the arena tour in 2006 i didn't get many good photos...
I got fantastic tickets, right at the front of the stage, He open'd the new wembley stadium on the 9th and 10th of June, Here's a few pics..
Me in the pink on the far left, with sun glasses on, then my friends, rita, caff and emmy... Rita and Emmy are both from the US! This was the day we que'd for the 9th... we was que'ing from 7.30am but well worth it..
and now the man himself! how close was I!!!!
He was a fantastic performer, there was 75,000 people at the new wembley stadium! he had all the crowd up and dancing, singing and screaming... He looked so happy and was totally enjoying himself! I was also pleansantly surprised how much interation there was, he talked plenty, and got us involved in a lot of the songs.... WOW a few nights i'll never ever forget..
I nearly wet myself when he came out in he's cop uniform for he's song, 'outside'
He sure shakes it on stage
some ballads..
and he was so great, if he see you taking a picture he'd try to look at you so you could get one, specially if you were in front row!
Was a fantastic 2 nights..
and it didn't stop there, Next was a concert at my home town in plymouth.....
:cunning:

Re: George Michael..
Plymouth 19th june.....What a mad day, started at 7am, when i done a radio interview, on bbc devon local radio, course it was about George LOL! They was doing a piece on George for the concert that night, my neighbour is a presenter on there, and she asked if the breakfast show could phone me...... When I went on air, i got all shy LOL!!!!!!
Then when was queing at plymouth from 8am, Me and my friends were the first there, it got madder as the day went on, because the local itv and bbc news tv people turned up, My daughter phoned me up and said hey mummy i just see you on tv LOL!!!
The people in que were fantastic and we had a champaigne breakfast, YUM!!
anyways again, I was front barrier of the stage..
I was hoping to be able to go to the usa as he's doing a world tour this year, but I don't think i'm gonna be able to......

Re: George Michael..
I am not a fan of his music but he always looks good and he is always good when he is on stage.
I love the policeman outfit as well... But then again I have a thing for men in uniforms! :bow2:

Re: George Michael..
I owe George Michael a drink, I was with a friend in Norwich and we went to the cinema. When we got out of the cinema I realised that we'd missed the last train back to Lowestoft!!!
So I was about to call home to see if mum could pick us up in Great Yarmouth, if we got the Gt Yarmouth train, but my friend called out to say that the Lowestoft train was still there.
When we got back to Lowestoft we were walking back to my house and I noticed my neighbours walking by me, so I said hello and they told me that they'd seen George Michael performing. And that because his show was running half an hour later he, or his "people" had made arrangements to hold the train back!!
