I was just looking at some of your pictures in the inspiration forum.

I noticed that the sites are all on cement slabs. Do you ever miss having
land of your own to putter around on? I love to camp and travel but I sure would miss my home base. I'm just curious is all.

No, not really. I guess I would like a little garden.....but we decide to do this, partly because my back has gotten so bad, that I just can't do gardening or lawn maintenance any more.
I do miss my house plants from my other house......I used to have this huge Sunroom....with plants everywhere......Loved that!
Here's a few of those...

Wow..Those were very nice house plants. My Aunt and Uncle are full time RVers. They love it. They mostly just spend their winters in Florida and their summers up around
here (PA). Do you tow a car?

We will be. I used to follow Hubby, but that long drive killed my back..
SO 2 weeks ago we traded my Chevy Trail Blazer in on a Honda CRV (pics in my inspirations area)..
It is 1000 pounds lighter, so out RV can tow it better. This Saturday we have to take the car down to Phoenix and have a special Towing HITCH put on......going to cost a fortune. But at least I can now ride in the RV with Hubby. IF my back gets to acting up, I can do lay on the couch... :rkon:

POOH!! :rolling: Don't tell him, I just used the back as an excuse....really just wanted to be able to "NAG" him during the whole trip! :rkon:

And really, I don't miss gardening or my sunroom....I can just walk outside, plop out in a lawn chair and enjoy a book.....someone else has to mow and water! :rolling:

And every month or so......during the summer, we will have a new view....

It does get quite boring just driving along all by yourself with nobody to NAG!

I have a garden that Im actually dreading having to plant this year.

So are the people that mow and water at least something you would wanna sit outside with a beer and watch?? :cunning:

Image Queeny

You did have some beautiful and healthy plants. I did have some plants on just one plant stand, but they are all dead now because of my husband and my house. My house was not built for a lot of sunshine. The only big window we have is the sliding glass doors, so I put the stand downstairs, then my husband kept knocking it over taking laundry up and down so they all died. I think I overwatered too. I have never been real good with plants, I definitely have a brown thumb, but as my house does not have a real good source of sunlight, they never thrive very well. I just have to rely on the nature outside. Since you will be traveling around that is the best way to enjoy it. Nature is God's canvas I always say and that is amazing, real natural beauty.

Where are you headed this summer?

HI YA DEBBI! emoticon
Well, this summer....starting in May, (when son gets out of THIS college)...
We want to drive to Las Vegas (we can ONLY drive on the weekends, as Hubby has to work during the week)
So we want to spend the week there, catch some show's......especially this STAR TREK EXPERIENCE (link here) as you know, we are all Star Trek geeks!
Then we need to be in Idaho first week of June for my family reunion.(it's not till mid June, but Mom and Dad need a bit of help getting stuff ready)....we'll stay there till after the reunion.......then head to Montana (hubby has a 2 week job there, as they have an office in Bozeman) ....then work our way over to Minnesota, stay at one of the lakes there for most of July and get all our Doctor, dentist and eye appointments out of the way.....then the end of July or beginning of August....we need to head down to Mankato, MN. that is where Chris has chosen to take his next college courses, in LAW. We want to check into an apartment, as the dorms are horrible, but we'll see! After he starts classes then Hubby and I will head back south, staying ahead of the cooling temps.
And we are not sure if we want to stay the winter in Arizona again or try the coast of Texas or Florida.....we'll just "wing-it" from there!

Sounds like you will be off on another adventure. You will definitely see a lot of beautiful country with your itinerary this summer. It is so cool you can pick up and go to just about anywhere. I would love to go to Florida. That would be a cool place to visit, but I here it gets really hot down there, but I suppose Arizona is a hot place too, but a different kind of hot I guess. I don't blame you for not wanting to stay in Minnesota during the winter months. How does Chris feel about you being so far away during this time, since he won't be able to come and visit so easily as before?

It is rather nice to move.......even if it is only on weekends...
And Chris is fine with it.....I mean several of his high school friends are within the STATE and his GIRLFRIEND is actually taking a business major at the same school! emoticon
I was only worried about him his first year......and he did leave all his friends. So I was glad we were here, and I did NOT miss the cold and snow.
We won't be in Florida till late Fall, even if we do go. And if the humidity gets to be too much....we can always come back to Arizona...

Yes it does doesn't it emoticon You might just run into Aragon on your adventures, wouldn't that be just wonderful, but I guess you may have to settle for Captain Kirk, Captain Picard, Spock, Data and a few Klingons. That wouldin't be to bad either. That sounds like so much fun.
