Twilight of the Jedi (rp site)
The war against the separatists is at it’s peak. Jedi generals lead battalions of clones on several worlds. And unknown to the Jedi council, a sith lord , Darth Sidious is behind the mechanisms of this war.
Along with the troubles of ending the war, the council is plagued with requests from Chancellor Palpatine dealing with Anakin Skywalker and his rising within the ranks of the Jedi. Stopped at every turn, Anakin slowly turns from the Order and into the hands of the unseen Sith. Upon the finding of General Grievous, the council sends Master Obi-Wan Kenobi to the planet Utapau instead of the request for Anakin which is the final obstacle for the descending Jedi.
Master Mace Windu acts on the information given by Anakin about the discovery that Chancellor Palpatine is actually the Sith Lord they were searching for. Unheeding to Master Windu’s order to stay at the temple to wait for his return, Anakin follows the four Jedi masters and involuntarily helps save the chancellor’s life from Windu’s wrath.
After being saved, Palpatine announces himself emperor of the new Galactic Empire and secretly sends out Order 66 to his clone commanders out on the battlefields. One by one the Jedi generals are executed as well as the Jedi Temple assaulted in force. To the clone’s knowledge, everyone….young and old alike within the temple walls are exterminated. Although a few had managed to escape the open carnage. The clones had set a repeating message for all surviving Jedi to return to the Temple. Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Master Yoda returned to the temple to clear some of the clones remaining as well as changed the message from asking the survivors to return, to telling them to seek refuge elsewhere.
Now the remnants of the Jedi order are scattered and scrambling for some place to keep secret, and safe from the pursuing Empire and Bounty Hunters on their tails.
