Phone Etiquette
This just happened now, but it's always been a pet peeve lol. A friend of mine calls me everynight somewhere between 9p and midnight, and I always make sure I'm not too busy when she does call, and normally we will have a good long hour or two conversation, but not tonight.. It's happened before, but tonight was bad enough for me to want to rant about it lol.
I find it really rude when someone calls you, but talks more to people where they are, than you while on the phone.. I can understand needing to tell someone something really quickly or whatever, but stuff like tonight was just crazy.. a whole 5 minutes passed by with her talking to the friends she had there.. I would say something and I'd get a "right mhmm okay" type response.. Now I'm not mad at the person, but it I think some people need to take phone etiquette lessons

Re: Phone Etiquette
I've actually been know to do this once in awhile but only when the conversation on the phone is lighthearted and joking. Otherwise I'm in the other room where I can be alone and it's quiet.

Re: Phone Etiquette
Well I could understand talking a little bit with others, specially if the person on the phone knows them too. The person I am talking about had a few kids, and she talks to/they talk to her and I don't mind at all with that.. specially with the little ones.. cause they always end up saying something that makes me giggle lol. And when I ranted out convo was probably light too, it just got on my nerves a little, since she called me but talked more to the girls she was with. lol.

Re: Phone Etiquette
We get it sometimes at work... people call to discuss a mortgage and then the doorbell rings or the child needs attention. I don't mind as long as they apologise and don't take too long about it. Generally people are very concerned about doing it...
