neighbors from hell...

Anyone have any? lol.

The guy that lives behind me would be mine, I am at 1337 e. Madison st., and his address is 1337 1/2 e. Madison st. Our houses are not connected and all but His mailbox is on the side of my house, I get his mail a lot, and always make sure I put it in his mailbox right a way.. I've been retuned mail from him.. including an opened letter, and a check that had been folded up and creased like it had been in a pocket/wallet.. He is an alcoholic, and he likes to try to come over here a lot when he's drunk but I usually don't answer the door... He once asked me to loan him 100 dollars with my reward being "I'll get you drunk", oh and he likes to let his friends park in my driveway...

The people on the sides of my houses are okay though.. ones a hot single Mom emoticon and the other is an older couple.

As you can see, I'm a rather ranty person..lol. I just like posting observations I've made that get on my nerves.. Not heart attack inducing anger.. (though the chekc thing came close).. but just small things that bug me.

He does sound like hell.

We don't have too many - most are older couples and keep themselves to themselves. However next door is a young mother with two(?) children. She has been recently left by the father and that makes her life rather hard. She was complaining that we don't keep our bins clean (well, that they smell compared to everyone else's) and that we can be noisy! We are out all day at work and the children make far more noise than we do first thing and also at bedtime. We might have more things going on in the evening but nothing that noisy!

Yeah some people worry so much about what every one else is doing they don't realize how annoying they are. I have to admit I was a Neighbor from hell once.. well probably lol. I lived in an upstairs apartment (with a bed that folded up into the wall) when I was in college.. I pretty much kept to myself, but I am partially deaf, so I did probably listen to my Music a little loud.. My neighnor once left me a really passive aggressive note on my door once.. telling me to keep my elephants tied up, and music down.. and the only loud thing that would have been considered 'elephants walking' type of a sound is me folding my bed into the wall.. lol. but I did probably listen to the music a bit loud.

Ranting is good for ya...probably stop you from getting high blood pressure in later years!! emoticon
I had ONE neighbor....would let they're dog bark and bark and bark....and when I'd call to complain...they'd go out and treat the dog horribly....
So I called the cops and the humane society on them....guess I was the "neighbor from hell"! emoticon

Lol.. I use to have a neighbor that would take her dog for a walk all the time and it always seemed to do it's business on the sidewalk right in front of my door lol.

emoticon My Dad's neighbor used to allow they're two big dogs out at night to do they're business unsupervised and they always ran in Dad's yard and took a dump.

So one week he saved up the whole weeks worth....then after they went to bed, he put ALL of it on the back step of they're house........right where both Hubby and wify and both dogs would step in it....first thing in the morning in the dark!! emoticon

Needless to say...that following weekend, they put up a chain link fence! emoticon

Re: neighbors from hell...

Honestly, we don't really have any. Mostly annoying ones who won't stop talking when we say hi. There is one whose 15 year old son let my roommate's son and my son watch a totally inappropriate movie and then she said it wasn't up to her what they watched. I mean come on lady. My son is 8 and my roommate's son is 6. Sheesh....

But the funny thing is, I think most of our neighbors think WE are the neighbors from hell. We have 2 big dogs here....one a St. Bernard and one a boxer/black lab mix. We have the 3 kids here that are pretty loud when outside but they ARE kids after all. Oh, and WE tend to be really loud when we are outside......can't help it when my roommate is drunker than a skunk and laughing her butt off at me for no reason. LOL

Re: neighbors from hell...

We had a neighbor from hell in Florida...she was a Navy wife that LOVED TO ENTERTAIN men and all hours of the day and night...We were there when she and her husband (and baby) moved in...he was sent out on a 6 month tour out of Mayport and to be honest I don't think the ship had even left Port when she had 6 men drinking and partying next door..and it remained that way for the whole 6 months he was on the ship...

We put up and complained about the racket especially when we were trying to sleep during the day...plus they were always taking our Parking space (each apartment had two slots pretty much in front of the apartment/4 plex and all others were supposed to park in center lot for guest)...

We became the Neighbors from Hell when we had the offending vehicles towed one morning when we got home at 7am(woke up the landlord so he could authorized the towing)...2 trucks pulled in and hooked up the vehicles (both belonging to 'Her' company) and were pulling out when they came running out trying to stop the towtrucks......we had several other vehicles towed later that same week before she finally had her company park in the 'Guest Lot'...

Needless to say...her hubby came home and there was a definite hal-a-ba-loo because there were several men in the apartment at the time...

It was very interesting..especially when she came running out in a neglige and the back of her thighs had sooooo many vericose veins they looked like a road map to he**...and this was a young woman in her 20s..

Needless to say she left with one of her 'Friends' crying and all--he wouldn't let her take the baby (which I didn't blame him one bit...they had a studio apartment the baby was about 12 to 18 months old...I went to work with migraines on numerous ocassions from the Pot smoke pouring out of their apartment and that baby was inside during all this...And I thought she had at least taken the baby to her family during these so called parties of hers.

Man...I think I'd have had to call Child Welfare, social services or if on base, then base security...
I would have been the Neighbor from Hell! emoticon

Unfortunately, it was not on the base...but at the time I didn't know the baby was inside the apartment during all the pot smoking...If I had I would have definitely called the Child Welfare department....(the police or someone that would have gotten the child out of that enviorment).
