Orchestra
Just thought I'd post the yayfulness of this - Orchestra course in 2 days (well, on Wednesday) which is majorly exciting! It'll be amazing to be part of an ensemble that sounds so good! I'm just wondering what the woodwind section sound like - the 2nd orchestra are supposed to be a higher standard than the 2nd band, but the woodwind of 2nd orch sound rather terrible, to be honest - much worse than that of 2nd band. So I shall be interested to hear how good the 1st orch woodwind are (I'm playing viola.)
Anyway, I thought I'd take this opportunity to be happy about it before I find out just how much I can't play any of it and feel like crying all the time! But the experience will be good whether I can play it or not. Hopefully.

It is, except when he gets us to play a particular bowstroke individually, just to see where in the bow we do it. That was scary because I knew I couldn't do it anyway ... But oh well! The atmosphere's good, and the cor anglais makes up for feeling bad
