Re: Why do you play the cello? Well I'm not saying it's not English, but it's not often used as an expression in England, if that makes sense. It's more of an Americanism than an Englishism! (I know I know, I made 'Englishism' up!)

Re: Why do you play the cello? I wouldn't know. Here in Cot St. Luc, ironicaly named since its populated almost exclusively by english speaking Jews, "awesome" is mostly used by very Jappy girls
