Re: Why do you play the bassoon? The space between the keys on the bassoon stretched my fingers painfully when I tried to play one once.
As for the fingering system... the entire bloody instrument is like the upper altissimo register of the clarinet!!!
Apart from that, it wasn't at all difficult to play.
