Drum stuff... I really like bass drum .. it is ever so much fun.
Heh, cymbals can actually be tough as well when you get into all the different stuff you are expected to do with them. Of course ust holding the cymbals for the snares in the stands is bunches of fun as well!
Snares are cool. I had the chance to play them (we would switch around the percussion instruments after half time) but I was kinda scared to do the fast stuff just becuase there were people beside me who actually knew what they were doing, lol.
Tenors are awesome! I wish I had gotten a chance during the season to play them.
What do y'all play and what do y'all think of 'em??
Re: Drum stuff... Funny story...
my best friend is a percussionist, so I spend a fair bit of time at all our orchestra rehearsals helping her set up.
So anyway, one day I was carrying the crash cymbals on their stand, when one fell off. As if that wasn't bad enough, I took a few more steps, and the other one fell off!
Those things make so much noise when they fall to the ground.
Re: Drum stuff... I think you deserve a prize for the most posts! I've been looking through the member directory, and you seem to have posted more than all the other members put together.
So, here is your crown.

It's not a very good one, but it's the best I could do.
Re: Drum stuff... I like untuned percussion... instead of sounding out of tune, it sounds like it's in tune with whatever else is playing... tenor and bass drums I like especially
