Reflections of a Fall Leaf

I Reflect on a Fall Leaf

Dead on the inside, just like me

Where is my guitar?

 

I walk in shadows

Just like Linkin Park

A world of doubt and pain

I think I’ll sing about it.

 

My life is a tragedy beyond the martyrs:

Why did my mother have to ground me?

Nobody could possibly understand my pain:

I can’t go to the movies Friday night.

 

Their eyes are hollow, their smiles are faded

I can’t understand math

The stars are crying in the blackness of space

Nobody hears them, and I forgot to study.

 

Someone save me from my poison

Someone listen when I scream

Someone please be there to hear me suffer

Or I’ll put out an album every year.

Can you see me slowly dying? Can you see me fading away? Do you see the corpses that walk the streets? Will you even notice when I disappear?
