I always thought sax and clarinet went hand-in-hand because of the embouchure, but my friend who plays sax can't get a sound out of clarinet emoticon

Yeah, the embouchure on clarinet is harder to get a sound out of than the one for sax.

Didn't know that. Is it because the sax embouchure (well, for alto downwards anyway) is looser?
