What are you working on currently? I'm just wondering what people are currently working on
I received a Call for Works for a concert to celebrate 4 years of composition courses run by this particular charity (SPNM - http://www.spnm.org.uk) They are looking for pieces from people who have attended Sound Inventors courses, and out of the pieces submitted they'll choose 8 - 10 of the best. The piece itself has to be 8-10 minutes long, and to be for a combination of 8 instruments or more (we were given a list of instruments from which to choose) - mine is for cor anglais, clarinet, bassoon, trombone, tuba, 2 violins, viola and cello. So far I have about 1' 40" and it's supposed to be submitted by September 30th! I was notified about the CfW somewhere near the beginning of the month so I don't feel I've done too badly so far ... !

Re: What are you working on currently? I am working on setting The Gadrden of Proserpine by Algernon Charles Swinburne, for soprano, winds, percussion, cello and piano; an electroacoustic piece, and a piece for brass ensemble.

Re: What are you working on currently? Wow! Puts mine to shame!

Re: What are you working on currently? If anyone's interested, PM or e-mail me and you can have a version of my composition. It's a bit weird but I got it to approx 9'30"
