I played for a bit,

I attempted a high Bb, the one an octave higher than the one on top of the ledger line in treble clef. I don't know if that's good or not.

He he, one thing, in a concert abuot to play and got all ready, looked at the conductor... pre-beats 3,4 and then i go to play but no sound...?

...my bow wasn't wined up... I just pretended to play the whole piece to avoid embarrassment considering I was in the front row and the audience was all staring at me. Luck I didn't hve a solo emoticon

Yucky top note. See, the reason I play viola is because it's a nice break from the high notes on violin, so to do that just defeats the object in my mind. But what you will.

LOL re bow!!! Still, at least it was intact ...
