This Is A Personal Invite To Skizz
Hi Skizz, I thought this forum might be a good way for you and others to share progress reports, etc. on the doc-you-drama known as 'RAUDELUNAS -4019 DAYS OF ARTISTICAL ANARCHY'...or whatever. All kidding aside, we welcome you to keep us abreast, and keep one for yourself, too. Thanks in advance for sharing any info that you'd like, and above all else, don't cross over this line___________< right here.

and a more recent photo after his return from Normal, Illinois-

Re: This Is A Personal Invite To Skizz
Skizz here. Thanks for the personal invite. Where did you find those pictures of me? I looked so much better then.
Progress report on the film: In 2001, I shot interviews with Ron 'Pate, Anne LeBaron, Bill Starsh A., and Jim Willett. This past June I spent a few days driving around Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, shooting interviews with **** Foote, Don "Pretty Boy" Smith, Jim Reed, "Doc" Cashion, Doug Newby, and Rev. Fred Lane. In August, I went to Chicago and interviewed Fletcher Hayes. This weekend I'm returning to Birmingham, and hope to interview Syd Charisse. I still need to arrange some trips to Richmond and Canada to get the rest of the interviews needed, plus find some celebs who were/are Fred Lane fans (anyone know of any?). Plus I need ANY existing relevant photos or movie footage. There's a page on my site (www.skizz.net) dedicated to the making of the documentary, but it needs to be updated. I have no idea when the film will be finished because I've been shooting it based around trips to various film festivals - certainly not the ideal production schedule for any film. Plus the whole production is coming straight out of my pocket. Something tells me I'm going to have to go jobless for awhile to find the time to do all the editing.
In the meantime, here's a picture of a guy getting his favorite new piece of art from the guy who made it:

Hey Skizz, Thanks for accepting the invite, and bringing the movie news up to date. Speaking of 'looking better', Freddo looks mighty-fine in that photo, and the Buddy Hollys make him look even smarter.
I found your photos at Google Images, along with this one of a younger day.

Re: This Is A Personal Invite To Skizz
Hey congratulations Skizz, I just read that you interviewed Davey Jo! Did he happen to mention all the 'butter that repeatedly went on crackers', or the red phone booth in his foyer? Neither actually had anything to do with "Doc's" surprise cigar birthday party - believe you me...

"Okay-Okay...."(Master Grayson)....First off, you're doing great, so far...., but, in order to get in touch with DJW, you'll practically need an act of D-congress, (I've tried for years), Or, give Skizz about five dollars worth of burning cheese. Doc told me to say that:

Re: This Is A Personal Invite To Skizz
Well, my email went unanswered so I have nothing to report.
