Is The Ball Rolling?
Normally one of those popular optical illusion images would be inserted here, but instead I'll share a memory of the good ol' days...
The Gravel Pit
One day in early 1980 something, somewhere in Southeastern Alabama, **** Foote had taken Fred Lane and me to shoot some photos for the Car Radio Jerome album. Fred had asked for a desert like location, so **** took us to a gravel pit that might as well have been on the Moon, the way my memory serves me. I'm pretty sure it was a hot day and we were all dressed up in our character's formal woolen costumes. As usual, the good Reverend was giddy with excitement whenever we did anything relating to Band or stage stuff. And likewise Roger (****) would be laughing his head off in response to Fred Lane's antics. On this particular occasion things seemed to be just a little bit more gay (old English) than usual - maybe it was Lane's white tux, or the tension of lying to get past the Gravel Pit guard at the entry gate. Roger told him we were shooting a TV commercial or something....Anyway, we got some great photos of a Cootie Bug® in the sands of time and collection of high-action epic fight scenes between Camel and Lane soon to be released in some Mexican produced comic book (I hope).
