Any mac users found a way to get on?
Are there any mac users here who have found a way to get on and use the hub? That Mac software they provide, DCGUI-QT, is worse than a joke, it doesn't work at all, it's the buggiest piece of amatuerware I've ever seen and has no documentation or help and echoeshub doesn't provide any help with it.
I've also tried Valknut, which I can't figure out for the life of me how to get to work, ditto for Direct Connect (whose "help..." feature only points your browser to an ad for a Kung-Fu movie!! Which is pretty typical of how this whole experience has gone for me.) I also got DCOSX from Sourceforge but the download package they provide is corrupt, and a bug report filed 2 years ago about this hasn't been anwered yet. Again, this is starting to seem very typical.
I got Shakespeer to connect but couldn't figure out how to see or share any files and there is no help or documentation available for it.
It's looking to me like this "Direct Connect" filesharing platform is not available for Mac users. Echoeshub sounded interesting, and I've got a few GBs of Floyd boots to share, but after many, many hours of pulling my hair out I'm ready to give up unless I find someone who has actually succeeded at using it on with a Mac and can tell me how.
(Especially as Echoeshub moderators are sending out emails saying I might have my account cancelled for not logging in enough.)

Re: Any mac users found a way to get on?
The reason for asking you to login was for your benefit and ours. Instead of having to re-register your accounts, we asked all those still interested to log in for roll call.
All those who logged in for roll call and logged in afterwards, were going to be migrated over into the new database.
We had over 4,000 accounts that had signed up in the last 2 years and only averaging 250+ traders at any given time. No reason to setup accounts for people who logged in once, couldnt figure it out and gave up or those who no longer have a computer, or are no longer interested in trading, etc....
I'll reference your above request to some of our MAC users to come here and give some advice.

Re: Any mac users found a way to get on?
I finally get through today with Black holes help and Shakespeer.
But Marooned, I've been kicked for 59 minutes and I don't know why.
Maybe because the program wasn't set properly at opening and tried to open to many hubs at the same time. I'd like to know.
thx
