Holloway Beachfest Summer Social...
Hey Roehampton
Firstly a big woop woop to you guys to coming up to holloway this afternoon, it was kick ass to run and play some competitive ultimate for the first time in a while...i really need to improve my throwing! ouchy...
here is the big news, i've been organising a summer social for holloway to beachfest (http://www.beachfest.co.uk) we don't have a team entered (sadly) but will be going none the less, at the mo i don't have all the numbers i need therefore if any of you wanna come along that is cool, just give me a shout....righty o here's the info:
"The social event of the year is upon us....
Holloway Ultimate's Beachfest Summer Social!
3rd-5th June 2006
The plan is to take a mini-bus down and join in the fun of beach ultimate without having the pressure of competitiveness on our shoulders. Accomodation is a very large tent in the same campsite as the competitors...
The accomodation looks like it will cost around £15 for both nights including a bbq on saturday sometime. transport isn't definate yet so will have to be added ontop of this, but shouldn't be too bad.
The trip is limited to 15 people...so get in quick, also please don't leave your decision up to the last minute as that will screw me over, so please decide now!"

Cheers for having us down on wesnesday i had a great day!
So tha plan would be to go to Beachfest drink lots, play some no pressure ultimate and sit around, i like it!

This sounds mighty cool! However its right in the middle of my exams, so it would interupt my cramming technique!
Might be the encouragement i need to get some revision done before the day,why do i kid myself like that!

Unfortunately it seems that Ant is right. Those dates fall right in the middle of my exams so I don't think i could make it and it will probably be the case for most of the team.
Seems like a really good weekend away though, cheers for thinking of us guy!
