Awards Night
I take great pleasure in announcing are first ever Awards night!
Its going to be held by are sponsors Putney Tandori on tuesday 2nd of May, the second week back after Easter.
Even if you don't particulary like Curry they sell drink(reasonable price) and we are likely to be moving on to somewhere else after dinner.
As i have mentioned this is being held by are sponsors and if we get enough people the club will recieve funding, so please make certain you come!
Ok the catagories are:
Most valuable player
Most consistent player
Most improved player
Most pissed person(consistently & individual occasion)
a voting form will be emailed to everyone before easter, we need everyone to return the form folded(so we can't see) to either myself or Jim, this has to be done in the first week back after Easter.
I know thats alot too take in, however its really important & will be a whole lot of fun if everyone can be there.
Can people please reply to this thread with weather they are going, along with any questions you might have.
I for one will most certainly be there!

i think awards nite sounds great, ill def be there! especially as the curry place may sponsor us, itll be good for us to show willing. but i actually wana get my poppadom if i order one this time!

Forgot to mention the last catagory;
Best Score, choose one from the following;
Sudden death score at begginers tournament, scored by Duncan assisted by Ant.
Theo and his layout score up at Brighton(first week in December) assist by Ade.
Rob with his behind the head sliding/diving catch against UCL in Roehampton, assist? maybe Andrew.
Louise one handed grab after theo's tip against Brunel 2 at regionals, assist by Ant.
Jim's layout score against holloway at regionals, assist by Ant through a crowd of players.
It took a long time to finalise these options, so think carefully about them.

yeah, we need a best team award was well, jus cos we are the best team. would be a shame to miss out on the obvious one.
come on guys, lets not fight over who scored what point and who has the best layout D's. isnt the important thing that we're super cool as we do it? and that wen we win, we win as a team, wen we lose, we all blame Jim, isnt that wat being a team is all about?

Agreed, it was an impressive score but the point of the see ya later is that its as easy grab so despite the spectacle I think Ant is right.
I don't mind taking the blame, it means i get to do those great post game speeches which i love so much!

All sounds fun! Not sure I'm going to decide who to vote for for these awards - YOU'RE ALL SO GREAT!!... and have been so drunk!!
I shall def there for that night, nothing like a good curry and good company.. aww.

fine, i didnt actually expect to get myself in the awards, so i give way to the judges decisions, realise that no matter how cheeky and impressive it was, it is not the extreme scores that you are looking for......i will say however, if it is so easy to do, how come none of you have done it????
