posticon I Need to Learn MORE....Help Would Be Appreciated.

Im very interested in martial arts. I would like to learn as much skills in any martial art field.if you can help me in anyway (ie.websites with techniques, information, etc.)This would be really great and help my growth.I have a backround in Karate,Brazilian Ju-juitsu, Kempo, Tai Kwan Do, Long Fist(a form of Kung-FU), Akido, and tai chi. Also, if there is a way to find out about tournaments in my area (preferbly sparring if possible, and not requiring to be registered with any martial arts school because i am currently not.)By the way, im 18 so im sure im legal for most things in this field now.I would really appreciate any help. Thank you for your time. emoticon

Hi Ronin,

Here are some interesting sites for you:

http://www.straightblastgym.com

http://www.tonyblauer.com

http://www.geoffthompson.com

And Karate sites which I'm affiliated with:

http://www.kdta.com

http://www.kissakikarate.com

http://www.isok.org

You certainly have an illustrious history of training and you are just 18 years old! I hope you stick around long enough in each of those martial arts to at least learn their basics.

You ask questions which are too general. Like it or not, most martial arts have their own governing bodies with their own rules and regulations. Just run a web search to find out more details each particular arts.

Wishing you all the best in your MA training and competition.

Best Regards,
Charles.

PS. A Ronin is a warrior without a master. Since we do not live in the Samurai age anymore, we can only strive to master ourselves. Are you telling me you can no longer control yourself? emoticon
