Treefella - we'll make a carp angler out of you yet.

Did you get your marker float back? I heard it made a bid for freedom quite early on in the match.

I wondered what that loud crack was!!! What do you expect using a heavy marker float on 2lb line and a match rod!! emoticon

You mean to say "not as funny as when I cast into the tree?" I seem to remember you rolling about on the floor!!!!! Besides we retrieved a marker float with thin main line from the lake yesterday. . . .

Add to that a couple of spods, a few leads, rigs and enough line to reach the moon!

That can always be expected at Broom, too many overhanging trees!

All I do is pick spods up. I'm having to give them away, I've got so many!

I think I have 4 of yours, andyk!

Come to think of it, if you up your mainline braid to 100lb, we could just pull the trees from the island instead of cutting them back!
