New Season 2009
Can't wait for the new river season to start, #'i have a month off as of 11th June so will be hoping to repeat my monster haul of Chub from the Ivel again!!!

Must say i will be hitting Paxton to see if i can sneak a barbel or two out. If i have a few hours to spare i will have wander along the Ivel as well for Chub / Barbel / Perch. Good Luck Andy in your quest, and indeed to all who will be out on the Rivers on the 16th, I will have to wait a week though.

Hmm! Last time in put him in a swim on a River he caught 2 10lb barbel and 4 more to back up down to 8lb !! He could catch out of a sewer! Anyway he's got some new toys to play with on the Lakes, so he won't be on a River in a hurry.

We are having a little "day session" tomorrow. . .give him a chance to try and christen his new toys!!!! Will let you know how he gets on! Hopefully better than last time with that missed run!

Hey, boys - new toys well and truly tested, although I would be interested to see how they go with a cat on the end. Anyway 7 fish for approx 102lb (and 2 bent hooks - thrown ALL those ESP's away!)
Andyk74 - nice bit of ghillieing - are you available next week?

Just PM'd you about that! Are you still going Wednesday?
Just got back from my first Ivel Chub session of the new season. . . 9 x 3lb chub, 6 x 4lb Chub and one 6lb 1oz Chub!! Quite pleased with that, not bad for four hours work!!!
