Before he has a chance to brag. . .Biggus Diccus won the night match. . . 131lb 4oz, well done mate! Although I must admit I didn't realise there were Mackeral and Herring in Broom lake. . .

Not going to brag, mate. I was lucky with the draw and even luckier (and relieved) when treefella drove passed the swim I wanted.
Well organised, good fun, nice music and a nice bit of rain and mud to play in.
The airman will be tighter - more swims with the potential to produce.
Still not sure what to spend the money on though...oh, can I hear a new Delk beeping.....

Well done mate.Must say the book was closed once you sat down in that peg. The Airman will be tighter but the overall crown will take a bit of catch up , a brace of 40lb cats might help!
AndyK, Well done on the organisation, seems to have gone smoothly.
Really enjoyed the experience of night fishing Broom although i struggled.Would love to night fish it again with a better choice of swim to see if there are any Cats in there and see what size the carp do go to i know a thirty was rumoured last season.

I would like to say thanks for all thosewho attended, and a special thankyou to those that helped to get the lake ready on the Saturday morning, you know who you are.
Glad everyone enjoyed it, and yes, Fishless I think it was a foregone conclusion when Biggus Diccus sat his ar*e in that swim!!
Still, as already said, the Airman should be a lot tighter and anyone could win it, so heres looking forward to the 26th September!!!
