No wonder Trefells didn't get much sleep that night; he said something about having nightmares everytime he looked up at the moon! 
Poor fella, will he ever be the same again..........
Only good thing I suppose is he didn't have chainsaw with him otherwise that could have got a bit messy!

It was bad enough having one ar*e crack on view for most of Saturday morning, no point Treefella cutting him a second one!!!!
Biggus, at least you had the guts to pack up and move, I couldn't do that, not once I'm settled, although whilst walking around the lake picking up the peg markers there were LOADS of Carp mooching around with their heqads down in the Bay. . . .
Avalon, that was a mighty fine bit of packing up if you did it in 5 hours!!! Your swim did look like Steptoes back yard!!!! Although mickey taking aside, your match style tactics did prove their worth. As I said on the day, if the Carp are feeding you don't stand a hope in hells chance of winning, but if they are proving finicky like they were this weekend then noddy bashing is worth trying!

You're only jealous your swim didn't look so well kitted out as mine did! 
I had just about everything I could have ever wanted for a weekends fishing....... oh, except one thing and that was the spool of 2.6lb line I had left on the stairs! 
Just think, if I had had that with me I may have even given you a run for your money.......
......oh, you didn't put any money in did you.....

I'm suprised that there is not a second "sunken" swim on the Airman Pit now!! The amount of weight that was in your swim, Avalon , must have been huge!!!! I bet your car gave a big sigh of relief when you emptied it and I bet your garage floor groaned!!

Ah, but Andyk, the only reason it took so long was because I had to pack the car PROPERLY. As you saw when I arrived, even if I had any more kit to bring it just weren't gonna happen. (I think I just about had enough space to breathe as I made my way to the venue!)
I must admit, the tyres did look a little flat as I left the car park........ maybe I'll have to invest in a tow bar and trailer for the Willington match....

You could always hire a transit van for the weekend!!! Be cheaper than investing in a tow bar and trailer. . . .
