willow pool
hi all would like to know if anyone could give me some information on willow pool in willington as not a lot of info in club book has anyone caught anything decent from there? and if so what tactics would be worth a try on there? many thanxs mick!

Hi Mick,
I fished there 2 months ago and didnt catch anything all day. The venue is quite deep, I was fishing at 15 feet three rod lengths out on a slider float and float leger. I was using hemp, maggots and sweetcorn as bait. I had several very timid bites towards the evening, but didnt catch anything, there is another thread on this forum about it.

ok thanks m8 ive since heard that blunham owned the rights of the water before shefford and if so have probably netted it as they have done with other waters in the past that have been pasted over so shall give it a miss i think
