little paxton
hi
has anyone fished little paxton recently? there has been little mention of it on the forum!
i'm thinking of fishing it on saturday and was wondering if it is fishing well? either below the weir or lamas meadow?
any info would be great!

plenty of eels in the weirpool plus big bream and endless bits on maggot. try a big feeder with pellets and crumb then a pellet on the hook or meat or boillie. get the weight set right and lob it in the pool.dont fish right next to the out let coz its too rocky but the pegs below should be ok.its a bit daunting but aslong as you keep chucking to the same spot and allow the feeder to land the same way regular as clock work then you should be ok.

if so what has been coming out?
if not has anyone fished lamas meadow at all??
im unsure which stretch to fish this weekend so any info would be great!
i would like to fish the weir pool for a chance of a barbel but if the bream are showing on lamas meadow then i will give it a go up there!

i fished paxton today on the weir pool and didnt get a bite i left my gear with my mate and went a little way down the river for 20 mins and had 2 chub out a 4 lb and a 5lb 6oz
a tree on the alotment side has fallen into the double swim it s still fishable but dont get to close to the bank as it is undercut and you will go straight through it and go arse over tit like i did

I fished the weirpool on saturday and didnt get a bite!
I should of moved but the weir has always produced in the past so i though i would sit it out!

i went on saturday afternoon for a few hours and managed a 3lb 1oz chub by the wooded area at the end of the alotments
