Stanford Pit
I tried to visit Stanford Pit the other day just to have a look. Unfortunately I could not get into the car park as my Freelander could not get under the bar at the entrance. Can anything be done about this or is there some where else I can park?

Hi Roy,
There is room for parking on the side of the road between the car park and the Green Man junction. This spot is also much closer to the pit.
