River Ouse - Willington
Looks like the E.A. have been weedcutting between Great Barford and Willington and that includes "our" stretch behind Willington Lake (but not the cut around the island). The river is at last showing a touch of colour now that we've had some rain.
This should make both stick float and far bank waggler fishing much easier, subject to the constraints of boat traffic.
Saturday afternoons and Fridays are best avoided as the weekly hire craft tend to be making their way from and to Bedford on those days.
