As some of you may well have seen, there is a listing in the match calendar for the above date and venue. I wanted to confirm that this is not being treated as a match, but more as an opportunity for our members to fish a different water which we wouldn't normally have access to.
I remember fishing Junior matches against Abbey Cross AS here many years ago and the quality of the fishing always used to be superb, with lots of crucian carp, tench, roach and carp coming to the net. Quite whether the fishing is as good today as it was then, I am not sure - I certainly hope it is and I am looking forward to giving it another try!
Please note: There are a limited number of places available and I would ask that if you are interested in coming along, please drop me a PM so that I can confirm details with you.
There will need to be a bit of structure to the day as the venue has gated access, and unfortunately it won't be a case of turning up as and when.
