False information
The committee takes seriously the issue of members spreading false information regarding the club’s fisheries and in particular the carp population in Willington Lake. Contrary to information being put about by one or two members there is no evidence of the large carp being lost from the lake. In fact the species is flourishing with more large fish being caught this year than for several years.
If the individuals who are bringing the club into disrepute are identified then action will be taken against them.
