Re: Harbour skateboards
That's to sweet Don-O. Are those Sims Gold Bearings, in those Snakes? I remember wanting them 'cause the ad made them look so shiny and cool.

Re: Harbour skateboards
It would be worth a million dollars but someone had to put stickers on it and then remove them! LOL
Sweet board Dan!

Re: Harbour skateboards
Awesome find! I used to ride exactly that deck, including the red Sims Snakes. I always liked the 50/50 red/black grip tape, and have been planning to setup a modern deck with that grip tape pattern. Sent you an e-mail Dan...
Dave can fill in the details, but Harbour surf has been in Seal Beach for what, about 40 years, and put out some very cool skateboards in the 70s.

Re: Harbour skateboards
Oh yeh Sham!.. The Sims Gold bearings... no it's not in these wheels.
BUT! I do have a complete set on another board....
Damn Bobby! wonder what those skickers were at one time? who knows...
if this board could talk....
Hey Tim, Stoked to hear you road a deck like this!
I bought it at a yardsale in Sedona, AZ circa 1985.
It's been a wall hanger ever since. I do have a connection to it.. My family lived in Huntington Beach '73-'75 and we used to have family picnics at Seal Beach.... good memories!

Re: Harbour skateboards
NICE SCORE!!! If anyone ever finds a first generation Harbour skateboard deck or complete, PLEASE let me know. I had one in the '70s and would love to have another one. I know... dreamin'! HAHAHA! But if it helps, I used profile surfboards at Harbour, too. (shameful plug)

Even Tim was all over it!
So SumD, is this a 1st/2nd generation? or?
Thanks, Dan~

Re: Harbour skateboards
Yeah, and can you believe I couldn't even convince Dan to part with it
that is a find Dan, definite keeper...
The first generation Harbour skateboards were all fiberglass, and when I stopped in the Harbour shop last month there were a few of these hanging on the wall behind the counter.
Second generation were wood laminate, & that is what you've got.
I know that they made them with 12 plys of birch laminate, not sure if they ever made them in 7-ply, though I think they did (Dave or Mark may know?). Can you tell if the one you have is 12-ply laminate Dan?
