 Feelings on Skaterbuilt!
I rode my first Skaterbuilt deck this past spring. I think it might have been a square tail but I am not sure. What I do remember about it was that it was not your ordinary board. I love a board that has some meat to it and you know in your head that before you even launch out of the bowl, you are thinking in your mind that "Ya, this is going to be the one!" and the board just feels so good that when you pop out of that bowl and it just sails! What a great feeling! After that day I was always on here checking out pics and looking at the merchandise page and reading all you silly guys posts that you put on here. I was hooked. Then, last month, we had some friends from Northern Cali come up to Boise to skate with us. One of our friends had a Trim Deluxe that we took out on a hill and bombed around for a while. I had never skated downhill before. It's crazy! Plus, I totally respect Khiro and they had a link to Skaterbuilt on their page. I seen the pic of Davo and Bob. I just felt like it was time to get in touch with Davo and see what would happen. I was so happy when he got back to me. I dig when a company is not all about street. I skate a fair amount of street but I like bowls the most. Plus, any company that says "Don't wear your sisters pants!"-that's a real company! Then, I checked out the myspace page and I watched a vid that actualy had some of my Utah buddies skating on it. I feel like Skaterbuilt was meant for me to find and I was just blown away when I actually talked to Davo one day on the phone. Unreal! I can't wait to shred my own Skaterbuilt ride! I want to skate with all of you someday!
