Thanks alot Steve!

If you get the wiggles in the back...either tighten it more, change bushings duros, or de wedge the back truck...I do this for super high speed ts! And so does MM! Like the 100 Coner we just had not too long ago-or the Bicknell Hill ts race (5-6 cones per sec)!!!! emoticon

Re: Mike's TS setup?

My current set up...in case anyone gives a shizzle...I was reading previous posts and my setup has changed since I posted that so here's the skinny on my latest TS stick.

I rode 18" for quite a while. But on some tighters courses I was having to loosen my trucks up more than I felt comfortable doing so one day, recently, I decided to shorten it to 17 1/2". TS was all of a sudden WAY easier than it had ever been and I could run my trucks tighter than before. I'm or course riding a Skaterbuilt Maysey model and am still riding a Radikal cutdown front truck with custom clear Radikal bushing on bottom and Khiro white bushing on top. My rear truck is a Tracker Mid offset made by Chicken's fabricator (who does his Indys) with cutdown green Radikal bushing on bottom and Khrio yellow on top. My wheels are Seismic Hot Spots...green in back and yellow in front. Bearings are Rockin' Ron's Ceramic Rockets (the only way to FLY). My risers are Khiro 10 degree in front with a Skterbuilt 1/4" flat under that to boost the height a little. I prefer my board to ride a bit higher in front than in back. With this setup I can run my front truck loose as a goose with my rear tight like a tiger. The effect is a turny shtick that doesn't speed wobble. My rear riser is a custom chunck of wood that goes from about 1/4" in the back to flush in the front. Taking most of the turn out of the back while still maintaining the lowrider that I prefer. My grip tape is from Skaterbuilt reminants. It's custom ripped and stuck by yours truly.
