Finally!
hey,
Finally decided to get out there and learn to surf!
the water at Pacifica was a lovely 54 degrees! 
the O'Neill 6-5-4 suit kept me at a nice operating
temperature.(booties were a welcome addition...)
here's the glass...
not the CI M13, but pretty close.
I opted for something a little bigger to start on.
Anacapa 8'x22"x3"(designed by Al Merrick)
I sold enough decks to get this one and still afford the
M13 later...(betcha can't eat just one!)
can't wait to get out again!

Good tip on the O'Neill wetsuit... just tried my old one on yesterday... better lay off the fat tire, 'cuz I got one now... heh heh heh!

I got a deal on the CI "Black Deauty".
used for one session.
$450.
It's a beautiful board.
can't wait 'til I'm good enough to ride it!
Yeah, the O'Neill suits are "specially formulated"
for the frigid NorCal Pacific. And the "Psycho" suits
are really nicely put together.

OLDEN!!! That board is perfect! Nice pinched tail, tight fin cluster, round template....it looks ready for some serious O.B. this winter...I hear they are already getting W-NW swells up there...better get ready...and be prepared...cuz surfing in NorCal is some heavy stuff.
