Only stuff that sinks in was old AC/DC, just enough rockcore and grooving blues riffs to help the flow.

I've got a new band. We play all my old skate songs I wrote in 1983 plus lots of new skate songs. We'll be in the studio this fall.

Yeeeehawwww Steve!!! Folks Steve Pederson is an SB brotherly skater from back East...his songs "Shut Up and Skate" and "Wake Up Tomorrow and Do It Again"

Of course there is a ton of punk rock that was the sound track at sessions or in the car on the way to a pool so it is hard to narrow it down. But I'm going to list:
Any Ramones - Any time I hear a Ramones song at a session I totally get pumped up.
Van Halen's first album. At the now long-dead Permanent Wave skatepark in Mesa, AZ they had this album on lock in the PA system. I can't help but think of learning Cess slides and tailblocks when I hear it.
Nirvana - Nevermind. When I had my ramp we would have Thursday night sessions and I cranked this album for months and turned a lot of people on the it.
