Yuck, stick to your day job! Too much, ditch the orchestra and re-arrange as an acoustic piece and then I might be able to tolerate it. Entirely too much going on, but not enough to cover up the voice. Sounded like a male Macy Gray and while I like Macy Gray, that wasn't a compliment...

Yeah I saw him at City Hall park in NY last week and I was speechless  . I applaud him for having a message in some of his songs, but his singing voice is a distraction.

If I'm not mistaken, I think he sang on a hbo special that aired a couple of years ago. It was a bluesy period number and he wasn't that bad.
He could sing the blues and it wouldn't be so bad, but pop? Like I said, stick to the day job. I can't believe his record label is releasing an album by him if that single is indicative of how it sounds...

I saw him on the View last week. I couldn't get a sense of style. His dynamics didn't match his acting. It was too safe. It was nice IDK if I will put it on my list yet.
