Oh my...I absolutley LOVE your music!!! You are a breath of fresh air in this confused world of music. For the longest it seemed like music lost its purpose, being a form of expression, but you have truly hit the nail on the head. You remind me of Ella Fitzgerald, who is my all time favorite vocalist. U probably heard this before and you do not have to reply, but I will like to thank you for creating that song ("Alright"). I am going through a very tough time in my life right now and that song helps me to have faith and hope (as well as God). Hey Ledisi!As tears form in my eyes i wanna say thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for your first cd.from beginning to end it has been my anthem especially songs like i tried alright and lost and found because after 7 months i found out that my fiancee was cheating on me playing these childish games acting like they single on the internet while i'm being faithful at work or in the back in the bed trying to sleep and god wouldn't let me sleep and after i caught him he tried to act like i was 5 years old and tell me it was a old profile lol. your song alright made me smile and look up to the sky and hear god so clear tell me that everything is gonna be alright because some people come and some people go thats just the way life goes.

I had to take a moment out to let you know, that whether you come out with another cd or song in life...you will forever BE A CLASSIC in my eyes according to my ears and heart. You have very good music, but your song "ALRIGHT" has touched me like a HYMN. Things do become too much...but it's alright because I got God, and good music until they get better....

I am a christian author and writer. But I also love jazz, and neo soul. I am a lover of real music. And you bring just that. I just wanted to say hello and to let you know how your song Morning just inspires me to continue to be the man that I am, when love seems so far away.. I can't wait till you come to chicago to see you in concert.. You voice is so beautiful and your lyrics cut to the soul.. When I first heard the song or your name I was like I have never heard of her, lol but your song and album is all I talk about.. If you ever sit and wonder if your music touch people, well you know one person who's life you have touched with that song.. Keep up the good work, keep in touch, and I pray that God keeps you in sound mind and body so you can keep those of us to feel lost in the shambles of love some since of hope!!

You are so lovely! I was at The Wiltern back in, 2000 maybe?? When you opened up for Rachelle. I was in the 4th row and I remember you shared the gravity of what that evening was for you. I want to say it was maybe your first big break? I remember your thanking Rachelle in such a heartfelt way and then she came out and stage with you. You had me in tears. Quite a moment.
So, just stopping by to say THANK YOU for sharing your voice with the world. It is a markedly better place for it, fo sho!!
