"Fragile Balance" Discussion---Possible Spoilers!
I thought this episode was very funny. The boy who played Jack was funny and 'did' him so well, what a talented kid.
The scenerio made for some humerous parts on this show.

Re: What did you think of Fragil Balance?
I'm looking forward to it! I'm watching it today at 1:30 with a friend who has TiVo. I had to work last night unfortunately, so I missed it.

Re: "Fragile Balance" Discussion---Possible Spoilers!
I thought this episode was good. The kid who played Jack really had his mannerisms down! And I always love episodes with the Asgard.
One thing that bothered me though....after all that he knows, and all that he's done (traveling to countless planets, etc..), how could Jack (the clone) decide to go back to high school???
I liked high school alright while I was in it...but after I was out, I hated it and would NEVER choose to go back!
BTW, I moved this topic to the "Seasons 1-7 forum"...

I am concerned with the possible repercussions of allowing the exact duplicate of Col, O'Neill to roam around freely. He knows all the secrets of the SGC and could pose a possible risk to the security of the base. I know he is Jack inside but he is also a kid on the outside. He is going to go through growing up again which will change him a bit. As he said at the end. He will be different from the original Jack from here on out.
I think this will actually open alot of possibilities for future episodes.

Re: "Fragile Balance" Discussion---Possible Spoilers!
I saw Fragile Balance today and thought it was very cool! You're right, the kid who played Col O'Neill is VERY talented! He did a great job of portraying Jack. It is kind of strange now that there's an extra Jack running around though.. I'm SURE the writers will bring that up again in the future. Just think. Someday there will be another, full grown, Col O'Neill -- identical to the one now. ..Strange...

Re: "Fragile Balance" Discussion---Possible Spoilers!
I thought that "Fragile Balance" was both informative and interesting. It gives you a look at a side of the Asgard that makes them seem a bit more "human". The Asgard make mistakes and have crime and break rules too.
It is very interesting to think that there is a "mini-Jack" in high school now....Wonder what they will do with that later.
Also, I didn't see that Jack had much choice when it came to saving his clone....if he didn't choose to save him, it would be the same as murder. Although, it would be hard to deal with there being someone out there who is the exact same person as you.
I though the interaction between Jack and clone-Jack at the end was great.

Re: "Fragile Balance" Discussion---Possible Spoilers!
I thought that was a really awesome episode. And that kid was Jack exactly...that was really impressive. I think he went back to high school because of that whole "if I only knew then what I know now" thing. It kind of gives him a second chance to see what would happen if he did things differently, since he already knows what happened in his first life. Did that make any sense?

Re: "Fragile Balance" Discussion---Possible Spoilers!
Yeah, you're probably right, Trinity. But personally, I don't think I would want a clone of myself walking around...PERIOD! I mean, if there was one already, I would save it, but I would be VERY uncomfortable with there being another "me" around. And if I were the clone, with all the memories and experiences of the "real" me, I would be even more uncomfortable, because I would have all the things in my head to continue doing my job and living my life, but I wouldn't be able to, because 1)someone else is already doing that, and 2)I am not even close to the age that my memories match up with.
All in all it is just a really crazy situation...
