I agree, it would be really difficult to be a kid with the memories and issues (like losing his son) of an adult. Not to mention how wierd it is having another you running around knowing basically everything about you. I wouldn't want that...it's really odd. That situation could cause future problems for the SGC, which could make for some interesting episodes later.
