Stargate Alphabet Dictionary Game

Okay, a variation of an old favorite. The instructions are: The first person starts with the first letter of the alphabet, A, and gives a word, name, place, etc. from SG-1. The next person to go defines the word, name, place, etc. from the first person's post, then writes a word of their own with the next letter of the alphabet, B. And so on, and so on....

I will start. emoticon

A.....Asgard

Asgard- The friendly little grey superheroes from beyond the galaxy. They like to hologrammaticly appear as Norse Gods on various worlds protected by the Asgard. Even though their technology is greater than that of the Goa'uld, they are preoccupied with their own nemesis', the Replicators. Col. O'neil's favorite alien race, the Asgard are Earth's most benevolent alies.

C- Chulak

Teal'c and Bra'tac's homeworld. The people of Chulak are Jaffa -- enslaved servants of the Goa'uld.

D- Delmak

In "Jolinar's Memories" (lucky me, I'm watching it right now) we learn that Delmak is Sokar's homeworld. He captured it and turned one of its moons, Netu, into a prison/Hell by pumping toxic gases into its atmosphere and blowing large holes in its crust releasing the molten core. Not much else is known about Delmak.

F - Frasier

Doctor Frasier! One of my favorite characters on Stargate SG-1 emoticon Doctor Frasier is a key part of the SGC. She's the doctor! She keeps the members of each SG team running at their peak efficiency emoticon Oh yeah, and she's my mom too emoticon Way-to-go Doc! emoticon

G - Gateroom

the gate room, also known as the "embarkation room" is the place where the various SG teams leave through the stargate to go to other planets .... the stargate is held in placeby fixtures which dampen the resonationg force caused by the activation of the gate ... there is a large shaft above the gate, which is how is was originally located so far beneath the ground ... the current "gate room" used to be a missile silo, which has since been converted for other uses

H- Hathor

Every man's favorite (and least favorite) Goa'uld. She is the goddess of sex, drugs and rock and roll. She is so seductive that she can actually control normal human males and get them to do her bidding. When she took over the SGC, only the women and Teal'c were able to fight her(I forget what episode it was). I guess Teal'c wasn't affected because of his symbiote. I gotta get one of those.

I-Isis

Isis, along with her mate Osiris, was placed within a stasis jar thousands of years ago in Ancient Egypt. When the jar was uncovered it was noted that the seal was broken. This resulted in the stasis jar failing, killing the preserved Isis. However, Osiris, her mate, was not killed, and inhabited the body of Daniel Jackson's former girlfriend, Sarah.
