Season 7 on Sci-Fi Channel
Well, Sci-Fi thankfully picked up SG-1 for the seventh season! The premiere aired last Friday, June 13th. Currently the show airs Fridays at 9pm/8 Central, with another showing of the same new episode at 11pm/10 Central.
Stargate: SG-1 reruns air on Mondays from 7pm to 11pm Eastern time, and weeknights at 1am Eastern time.

I sure am glad to see the SG1 series will still be aired. I enjoy the creative perspective (wait today is wednesday and im using big words~ i should check my temperature) & out of the ordinary scripting.
The only addition to the cast I can see would be a wild card member that constantly complains with low self esteem, yet offers a valuable asset to the "team". Also, this character shouldn't receive any pity, just a group shouting 'shut up & do it' responce.
Anyhow, enough rambling.... Enjoy the new Season!

I think that Sci-Fi is a perfect home for SG-1. I am very glad that they chose to pick up the show.  And it has a good chance of being very successful because the majority of Sci-Fi Channel watchers would be willing to watch SG-1, even if they haven't seen it before. This will lead to new viewers and new regular watchers.

It seems to me that Stargate is bigger and more popular now than it ever was on network tv. It was only recently that I got back into the show myself. Hopefully that will lead to another season, if not more. It's a really great show, it deserves to continue.

I too am happy that SciFi picked up Stargate for a seventh season. I'm even happier that Daniel has returned. I have had all I can stand of Jonas. He is a good fellow but doesn't fit in well with the other team members. Daniel shares a comraderie with the other members that makes the show much more enjoyable.
This should be a great season. It is so far.

Yes, I agree. Sci-Fi seems to be the best place for Stargate SG-1. The only problem with it is that those that do not have cable cannot watch it.
